Karen graduated from Oglethorpe University in 1972 and has been a trusted leader in the financial services industry for more than 35 years. She founded Vining Financial Service, Inc. in 1996, which evolved into Incompass Financial Partners, LLC in 2020.

Throughout her career, Karen has been passionate about making the financial planning process approachable and understandable. She has dedicated herself to educating clients and helping them gain the confidence and knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions.

As Chairman Emeritus of Incompass Financial, Karen continues to serve as a valued ambassador for the firm and helping preserve the relationships and values that have shaped the firm for decades. While she has transitioned away from providing advisory services and maintaining industry registrations, her experience and leadership remain an important part of Incompass.

Karen previously earned the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) designation and has been an active member of the Financial Services Institute (FSI).

Karen is deeply involved in her community and at the Catholic Church of St. Ann, where she has been a parishioner for more than 35 years. She has served on the church's Financial Committee and has been involved with the St. Ann Life Teen program and Parent 4 Life Teen Board. Karen has also been a member of the East Cobb YMCA for more than 25 years and has served on its Board of Directors. Additionally, she is a past board member of Aloha to Aging, Inc., an organization that has helped more than 2,000 families better understand and navigate the evolving needs of caring for aging loved ones.
