Born and raised in upstate New York, Odessa claims her southern roots from her Mother's side of the family and moved to Georgia in 1978.
She worked as an Academic Records Specialist in Emory University's Registrar's Office for 20+ years where she served as a resource for the university community on all matters related to student academic records and associated policies and procedures. She provided front-line functional expertise for over 60 academic departments and ten schools for the student records system.
In 2004 she accepted the position of Office Manager for Balanced Financial Principles which is now Incompass Financial Partners. Her primary responsibilities include office administration, client reporting, portfolio and analytical support, and servicing clients and their accounts.
Odessa and her husband, Bob, currently reside in Social Circle, GA with their German Shepherd, Rusty. Rusty is the fourth German Shepherd that the Walker's have rescued over the years. She volunteers in her church nursery, enjoys spending time with friends and family (especially her granddaughter who is an aspiring dancer with the Atlanta Ballet), and most of the time has Southern Gospel Music playing around her.
